What is a Birth Doula?
A Birth Doula is a trained and skilled birth professional who provides educational, physical & emotional support to you and your partner throughout those last few weeks of pregnancy, the entire birth experience, and typically a few weeks even months postpartum.
A Doula’s unique training gives then the skills and the ability to know how to make you comfortable during your labor and to get you educated so you can create the best birth-plan for your upcoming labor.
Doula’s are a valuable resource to your birth team.
Evidence confirms that Doula’s are a huge benefit to your birth team, by not only reducing your risk of a c-section but they also increase your satisfaction with your birth experience.
Doula’s help YOU get prepared and therefore give you more control in your birth.
You’re less likely to need a vacuum delivery or forceps delivery, you’re less likely to be induced and you’re more likely to breast-feed after your birth.

What is a postpartum Doula
A Postpartum Doula is your on the job trainer with bringing baby home.
Learning all of the tips and tricks on how to take care of baby quickly is going to enhance your experience, but also increase your confidence straight out the gate
Postpartum Doulas are available both daytime and at night.
During the day WE are there to assist you with an extra set of hands and education, and at night WE are there to help you get as much sleep as you can.
When we’re rested, we can enjoy our experience as parents much much more!
